"115th Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition Preliminary Round" Registration Information

Subject: Please assist in promoting the registration information for the preliminary round of the "115th Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition" and actively apply to host campus promotion seminars. Details are as follows. Please be informed.
Details:
1. To enhance the creativity and innovation of senior high school students nationwide,
and to train students to apply their knowledge, the Ministry of Education has been organizing the Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition since 2004. The 115th competition will mark its 23rd year.
2. The competition is open to senior high school students nationwide.
The competition consists of preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals, and an international competition. The competition content is interdisciplinary,
encompassing humanities, science, sports, practical skills, labor, knowledge, and skills encountered in daily life.
The summary of the 115th competition information is as follows:
(1) Registration dates and methods: A total of 3 preliminary rounds will be held.
Registration for all rounds begins on December 15, 114.
The first round registration closes on February 12.
The second round registration closes on March 26,
and the third round registration closes on May 14. All registrations must be completed online on the competition website (
Registration categories include the domestic "General Group" and "Vocational Group." Each team is limited to 4 to 6 members.
The category is determined by the school affiliation of the majority of team members:
1. General Group: Students from regular senior high schools, general high schools (general track), and school-based or non-school-based experimental education programs (including self-learning students).
2. Vocational Group: Students from vocational high schools, general high schools (vocational track), and specialized high schools.
(2) Registration fee: NT$300 per person. Students with financial difficulties may be exempted from the registration fee upon submission of relevant proof.
(3) Competition prizes: For the domestic General Group, Vocational Group, and International Group, the first, second, and third place winners will each receive NT$150,000, NT$80,000, and NT$50,000 respectively. The "Challenge Champion" and "Creative Team Spirit" awards will be given to one team each, with prizes of NT$80,000 and NT$10,000 respectively.
(4) Preliminary round dates and locations: Three rounds will be held in 5 regions: North, Central, South, East, and remote areas. For detailed locations and competition dates, please refer to the competition website.
3. To promote this competition, the "Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition Office" can visit your school to conduct "promotion seminars."
These seminars will explain the competition rules and provide hands-on activities. We welcome your school to apply. The application form for promotion seminars is attached, and the application methods and content are as follows:
(1) Application period: From now until May 115.
(2) Participants: Primarily principals, teachers, and students from senior and vocational high schools in the applicant school's region. Generally, each seminar should have at least 20 participants.
4. The electronic version of the competition poster is also attached.
Please assist your school in using it for internal promotion to encourage students to form teams and participate.
Physical copies of the competition poster will be sent separately by the "Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition Office" at National Taiwan University. Please assist in posting them.
