[Competition Information] National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology is holding the "22nd NKUST Civil Engineering Department Earthquake Resistance Battle" competition. Online registration will open on September 16, 2026. Teachers and students are welcome to form teams and participate!

I. Activity Objective:
The Department of Civil Engineering at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) is promoting disaster prevention education in earthquake engineering and aims to enhance students' interest in seismic principles of buildings, structural design, and hands-on practice. Therefore, the "22nd NKUST Civil Engineering Seismic Challenge" is being organized.
II. Activity and Registration Information:
Eligibility: High school, vocational school, and university students nationwide (faculty and students from NKUST are welcome to form interdisciplinary teams).
Registration Period: Online registration will open starting from September 16, 2026 (Wednesday).
Activity Location/Rules: For detailed competition rules, awards, and registration methods, please refer to the official activity website announcement.
III. Participation Support:
This competition effectively cultivates students' abilities in engineering design, mechanics application, and teamwork. If faculty and students from our university intend to form a team to represent the university in the competition, please inform the Internship Division of the Internship Office after completing the online registration, to facilitate subsequent administrative matters such as leave registration.
