Description:
I. To cultivate an international perspective and global vision among high school students in our city, and to enhance their English proficiency for international integration, a Memorandum of Understanding for a dual-degree program has been signed with School District 73 of British Columbia, Canada, and OVS High School of Ontario. This initiative promotes the dual-degree program for our city's high school students.
II. The "Ontario OVS High School Program in Canada" is planned as a 2-week study tour to a public high school in the Niagara Catholic District School Board in Ontario during the winter break of the first semester of the first year of high school. This provides students with an actual experience of Canadian curriculum and life. Participation in this activity is voluntary and requires an additional fee.
III. The excerpt from the admission brochure for the 6th Dual-Degree Program is as follows:
(I) Important Dates:
1. Registration Period: From 8:00 AM on June 10, 115 to 5:00 PM on August 23, 115.
2. Information Session Dates: Saturday, July 11, 115, and Saturday, August 22, 115, both in the morning. These sessions will be conducted via online conference. Parents and students may choose one session to attend.
3. Venue: The coordinating school for the 6th cohort – National Chungli Senior High School.
(II) Eligibility:
1. First-year students of public and private senior high schools in our city.
2. Students who have achieved a B++ in English and a B+ in Mathematics on the Basic Competency Test.
(III) Related Fees: The tuition fee for the British Columbia 2+1 program is approximately NT$1.1 million (hereinafter referred to as the same); the tuition fee for the Ontario 2-year program is approximately NT$280,000.
