For your information, the National Taiwan Science Education Center is organizing the 2026 7th Taiwan Science Festival series of activities: "5th.Gag Science - Science Demonstration Competition." We encourage students to participate actively. Please acknowledge receipt.

Description:
1. In accordance with the National Taiwan Science Education Center (hereinafter referred to as the Science Center) letter No. 11504002750 dated June 2, 115.
2. The 7th Taiwan Science Festival in 2026 will be held from November 7 to November 15 of this year (115).
The Science Center will organize the "5th. Science Showdown - Science Demonstration Competition" to allow
students to transform from observers to educators, unleashing their creativity in designing science demonstrations.
3. The details of the aforementioned competition are as follows:
(1) Eligibility: Students from the 3rd grade of elementary school to the 3rd grade of high school nationwide. Participants can register individually or as a team, with a maximum of 3 members per team.
(2) Awards:
1. First Place: 1 team, prize money NT$6,000.
2. Second Place: 2 teams, prize money NT$3,600.
3. Third Place: 3 teams, prize money NT$2,000.
4. Honorable Mention: 6 teams, prize money NT$1,000.
5. Best Supervising Teacher: 3 individuals, prize money NT$1,000.
6. Most Popular Award.
(3) Competition Procedure: The competition consists of two stages: an online video submission for the "preliminary round" and an on-site practical demonstration for the "final round" during the Science Festival.
1. Registration and Submission: From the announcement date until October 18, 115, 11:59 PM.
2. Preliminary Round Announcement: October 31, 115, 10:00 AM.
3. Demonstration Finals: November 8, 115, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
