Regarding the "Chinese Information Language Competition and Creative Design Award - 2026-2027 (15th) Professional English (Japanese) ESP Vocabulary and Dictation Competition" (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) event information and teacher professional development workshop, we encourage teachers and students to participate in this event. Description:
I. In conjunction with the Executive Yuan's promotion of the 2030 Bilingual Policy and the Ministry of Education's promotion of the Higher Education Deep Cultivation Project
and the Bilingual Learning Project for University and College Students (BEST) and the Twelve-Year Basic Education Curriculum
New Curriculum Guidelines, our university's Department of Industrial Education, in collaboration with GLAD Global Learning and Assessment Development Center in the United States,
aims to promote learning and application through competition, utilizing
international competency standards to foster practical and applicable international talent in higher education and vocational education in our country,
and to promote English proficiency for life and career exploration in primary and secondary schools. Therefore, this
competition and teacher professional development workshop are organized. We cordially invite your school's teachers and students to register and participate.
II. This year, we continue to invite the National Taiwan Science Education Center, the New Taipei City Government Department of Education,
the Taipei City Government Department of Education, the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education, the Taichung City Government
Department of Education, the Kaohsiung City Government Department of Education, the Yunlin County Government Department of Education, and the Hsinchu City
Government Department of Education, among other county and city education bureaus, to jointly organize this event, accelerating the promotion and implementation of bilingual
education and foundational international education capabilities.

IV. Competition Categories and Content:
(1) Junior High School Group: Practical English Listening and Dictation, Professional English Vocabulary, General
English Vocabulary, and English Grammar and Dictation.

VI. Competition Format:
(1) A three-tiered competition system will be adopted: school-level, regional finals, and national finals.

The top 10% of participants from the internal competition, who also possess international English and Japanese proficiency certificates in the same category, are eligible to register for the regional finals.

VII. Registration Method:
(1) For school-level competitions, schools must apply to the Grand Competition Working Group starting from September 1, 2026. The
timing of these competitions will be determined by the deadlines for regional competitions.

(3) Teacher Professional Development Workshop Registration: To enhance teachers' bilingual teaching capabilities and to understand the key events and content of this year's competition, three teacher professional development and competition briefing workshops will be held. One of these is for chief judge training. Each workshop is expected to last 2 hours (chief judge training, including assessment, will be 3 hours). The workshops will primarily be conducted online (Google Meet), with in-person sessions added as needed. Please register at least two days before each workshop.
