2. To respond to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and cooperate with the Ministry of Education's promotion of
digital learning, technology education, and interdisciplinary talent cultivation policies, the NTUST Vocational Empowerment Research Center
has planned and organized the aforementioned competition. Through the application of virtual reality (VR) technology,
students are guided to combine social issues for innovative practical application, enhancing their
problem-solving skills and digital literacy.
3. The competition categories and target participants are: Upper elementary school group, junior high school group, senior high school group (including
senior high schools, vocational high schools, comprehensive high schools, and the first to third years of five-year junior colleges) and university/college
group (including master's and doctoral students), totaling four groups. Any currently enrolled student who meets the eligibility criteria for a group
can register. Each team can have a maximum of 4 students, with up to 2
in-service supervising teachers, to implement co-learning between teachers and students.
4. Competition Theme: Centered around the UN SDGs, select themes that align with the 108 curriculum's domain issues for VR content creation, as detailed in the attachment.
5. Competition Briefing Session: Saturday, May 16, 115, at 2:00 PM, to be held online, as detailed in the attachment.
6. Preliminary Registration and Submission Period: Saturday, May 16, 115, to Monday, September 14, 115, until 5:00 PM.
7. Announcement of Competition Results:
(1) Preliminary Results Announcement: Friday, September 18, 115, announced on the official competition website.
(2) Most Popular Award: Saturday, September 19, 115, announced at the VR Hackathon.
(3) Finals: Friday, October 30, 115, with judging in the morning and an awards ceremony in the afternoon.

9. Awards: For the upper elementary school group, junior high school group, senior high school group, and university/college
group, awards will be selected based on the registered group:
(1) 1st Place (1 team): Certificate of Commendation, cash prize of NT$8,000 or equivalent gift voucher.(2) 2nd Place (1 team): Certificate of Commendation, cash prize of NT$5,000 or equivalent gift voucher.(3) 3rd Place (1 team): Certificate of Commendation, cash prize of NT$3,000 or equivalent gift voucher.
(4) Honorable Mention (1 team): Certificate of Commendation, cash prize of NT$1,000 or equivalent gift voucher.
(5) Rising Star Potential Award (1 team per group): Cash prize of NT$2,000 or equivalent
gift voucher (limited to schools that have not won this competition before).
(6) Most Popular Award: 1st Place NT$10,000, 2nd Place NT$6,000,
3rd Place NT$3,000.
