Details:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's Medium-Term Plan for International Education in Primary and Secondary Schools and the work plan of the International Education Exchange Alliance for Senior Secondary Schools.
2. This forum is co-organized with the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and aims to address the trends of artificial intelligence development and digital transformation in the education sector, exploring core issues such as the transformation of teachers' roles, global competencies, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
3. Forum details are as follows:
(1) Date: May 26 (Tuesday) to May 27 (Wednesday), 115, for one and a half days.
(2) Venue: Opera House, Huawen High School, Taichung City.
(3) Forum Themes: Including AI integration in teaching, global competencies and transferable skills, and social-emotional learning (SEL) as the three main themes.
(4) Forum Language: Conducted entirely in English, with interpreters available on-site.
4. Registration Information:
(1) Participants: A total of 60 high school and vocational school teachers from all over Taiwan.
(2) Registration Method: Please complete the Google Form registration by May 8 (Friday), 115 (URL: https://forms.gle/AvbgWX4gt1P9VhZr8).
(3) Admission results will be individually notified via email within one week after the registration deadline. The organizing unit and the Singapore Institute of Management reserve the final right to determine the list of admitted participants.
5. Expenses and Leave: Participants from within the country should have their official (business) leave registered by their respective schools. Travel expenses, accommodation, and transportation costs will be borne by the original unit or self-funded.
6. All regional offices of the Alliance are required to send representatives to attend. An implementation plan is attached for your reference.
