Forwarding the "2026 Hakka Choral Competition" and "Modern A Cappella Performance Competition" organized by the Hakka Affairs Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council). We encourage students to actively register and participate. Please be informed.

Description:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Council dated March 27, 115 (Republic of China calendar), Ref: Kehui Chuanzi No. 1156800148.
2. To promote the sustainable inheritance of Hakka language and culture, the Council has organized the
"2026 Hakka Choir Competition" to be held from May 23 to 24 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Miaobei Arts and Cultural Center Auditorium in Miaoli County,
and the "Modern A Cappella Performance Competition" on July 4 (Saturday) at the Hsinchu Big City Shopping Center.
The registration period for the choir
category is until April 27 (Monday); for the modern a cappella category, it is until April 7
(Tuesday).
3. The top prize for this competition is NT$100,000; additionally, to
encourage choir teams to bring Hakka music to the international stage, the Council will subsidize up to NT$300,000 for winning student teams in each category
if they participate in a prestigious international choir competition with Hakka songs by the end of 116 (Republic of China calendar).
