Description:
I. In accordance with the Taoyuan City 115th English Competition Implementation Plan.
II. The aforementioned competition is scheduled for March 21, 115 (Saturday) at Taoyuan Municipal Shoushan High
School. Related arrangements and precautions are as follows (see attachment for details):
(I) Check-in time:
1. First session: Check-in completed between 8:00 AM and 8:20 AM. The competition starts promptly at 8:30 AM.

(II) Participants shall attend on time according to the check-in time and location. Latecomers will be disqualified; those who do not appear after being called three times will also be disqualified.

(III) Competition venue: Shoushan High School.
(IV) Rule explanations for the first and second halves will be conducted before the respective halves. Selected
participants will be led to the venue by staff. Please wait in the rest area after check-in for staff guidance.

(V) To respect the participants and maintain the quality of the competition, parents or teachers are not allowed to enter the venue to observe. Only a rest area will be provided for waiting; photography and videography are prohibited at the competition site.

(VI) Please inform participants in the junior high, senior high/vocational, and university/college groups to bring their student IDs for verification. Those who do not bring their student IDs must present them before 12:00 PM on the day of the competition; otherwise, their scores will be canceled, and the next student will take their place.

(VII) The attire for participants shall be elegant, dignified, and appropriate for the occasion, and will be included in the "Poise" category for scoring.

(VIII) Props and costumes used by participants in the junior high storytelling category are limited to those brought by the participant onto the stage. Participants in all categories are prohibited from displaying their school name or any school-related logos in any way. Violators will not be scored.

(IX) The award ceremony will be held at 1:30 PM in the Shoushan High School Activity Center after the competition concludes on the same day. All participants are requested to attend the award ceremony promptly after their competition.

(X) There will be many prizes for the award ceremony raffle. Winners must present their participant number card, received during check-in, to claim their prize.

III. We kindly request your school to grant official leave (or business leave) to the accompanying teachers and instructors. As the competition falls on a weekend, the accompanying teachers and instructors assigned by your school may take one day of compensatory leave (with substitute teacher arrangements) within two years after the event concludes. The substitute teacher fees should be covered by the "Personnel Expenses" item under the "Local Education Development Fund" budget for 115 for each school. If there are insufficient funds, please apply for supplementary assistance along with the bureau's personnel expense survey.
