The Academia Sinica's 2026 "Knowledge Feast - President Wang Shih-chieh's Popular Science Lecture" is scheduled to be held on the evening of March 24, 2026 (Tuesday). We encourage you to sign up enthusiastically.

Description:
I. To commemorate the 135th birthday of the late President Wang Shih-chieh, the institute is holding a "Knowledge Feast - President Wang Shih-chieh Science Popularization Lecture Series." We have invited the winners of the 2015 Wang Shih-chieh Memorial Research Award and Research Fellow and Associate Director of the Institute of Sociology, Dr. Chiang Yen-sheng,
to give a lecture titled "When Taiwanese Meet Chinese and Americans: How Do We View This Subtle Triangular Relationship?" (Event poster attached).
II. Lecture Time: March 24, 2026, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Location: 1st Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Academic Activity Center, Institute.

IV. You are welcome to register for the on-site lecture before March 23, 2026. Please note the following:
(1) Registration is online. There are 30 on-site registration spots available on the day of the event. Registration will begin at 6:00 PM at the reception desk at the venue, on a first-come, first-served basis.
(2) If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please cancel your registration online before March 23, 2026, to avoid affecting your future registration rights.(3) The lecture will be edited and uploaded to the institute's YouTube channel after the event (no live broadcast).
V. On-site attendees will receive:
(1) A popular science publication will be given to those who check in on-site. Limited quantities available, while supplies last.
(2) If you are driving, please present your registration confirmation email upon entering the institute to receive free parking.
(3) Public servants attending can receive 1 hour of lifelong learning credit, and teachers can receive 1.5 hours.
