Announcement regarding the 2026 1st "Scholarship" application by the Dapeng Technology Charity Foundation.

I. Eligibility and Conditions:
Applicants must meet all five of the following criteria to apply for this scholarship:
(1) Must be a national of this country and under 25 years of age.
(2) Must be a student enrolled in a public or private senior high school, vocational school, junior college, or university recognized by the Ministry of Education, and must maintain current student status at the time of application. This excludes military and police academies, open universities, in-service programs for universities, and graduate programs. For students in 5-year junior college programs or 7-year integrated programs, the first three years are considered part of the senior high school/vocational school group.
(3) Academic Performance: The applicant's overall average grade from the previous semester (114 academic year, first semester) must be 70 or above, and conduct grade must be 75 or above.
(4) Must not be receiving other scholarships, or if applying for and receiving other on-campus or off-campus scholarships, still be unable to fully alleviate financial hardship.
(5) Family Situation:
1. Must qualify as low-income or middle-low-income household.
2. Special Circumstances:
(1) The primary breadwinner in the family has passed away, is seriously ill, unemployed, incarcerated, or unable to work for other reasons, causing the family's livelihood to be in distress.
(2) Special family circumstances affecting the student's stable pursuit of education.
(3) Other situations due to major unforeseen events that have caused the family's livelihood to be in distress and made it difficult to pursue education.
(4) The applicant has special physical or mental conditions but is actively pursuing education and can provide relevant proof. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Regulations for details.
II. Scholarship Amount:
Senior High School/Vocational School Group: NT$10,000 per recipient, with an estimated total of 10 recipients.
III. Application Documents:
(1) Original "Da Peng Scholarship Application Form" (one copy). Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the applicant.
(2) Original "Autobiography" (one copy), at least 500 words. Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the applicant.
(3) Original "Letter of Recommendation" (one copy), recommended by the head of the department, class advisor, counselor, subject teacher, or social worker from a social welfare organization. Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the recommender.
(4) Original transcript from the previous semester (one copy). The transcript must bear the official seal of the school.
(5) Original "Household Registration Transcript" (one copy) for the entire household, issued within the last three months.
(6) Please obtain an original copy of the "Proof of Various Income Sources for Comprehensive Income Tax" for the entire household from the previous year from the National Taxation Bureau.
(7) Please obtain an original copy of the "National Property Tax Return Statement of Property" for the entire household from the previous year from the National Taxation Bureau.
(8) A photocopy of the school's "Tuition Payment Receipt" for the current semester, or an original "Certificate of Enrollment" issued by the school (one copy).
(9) Proof of Special Family Circumstances: In addition to certificates for low-income or special-needs families, if a family member or the applicant themselves suffers from a serious illness, please submit an original diagnostic certificate from a public or private hospital. The diagnostic certificate must bear the official seal of the hospital and the doctor's seal.
(10) A clear photocopy of the cover of the applicant's Post Office or bank account (applicant's own account only, and must be stamped or signed). If the applicant does not have a financial account, a photocopy of the guardian's account may be used as a substitute.
(11) Proof of Special Achievements. Examples include: certificates or medals for outstanding skills or talents, commendations for public service and special achievements, proof of certifications obtained during studies, etc.
