Announcement regarding the application for the scholarship for outstanding underprivileged students for the second semester of the 114th academic year in Tainan City.

I. Eligibility:
(1) Any person who has been registered as a resident of Tainan Cityfor 6months or more, is attending a senior high school or above, or a national elementary or junior high school in this city, and meets one of the following conditions (in order of priority):
1.Low-income households.
2.Children and grandchildren of families in special circumstances.
3.Students from low-to-middle income households.
4.Students with an annual family incomeof 500,000 NT dollars or less.
(2) Needy students who meet one of the following conditions may apply for the Needy Outstanding Student Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship):
1. Senior high, vocational, or first to third year of a five-year junior college program: Academic average score of75points or above, with no unexcused absences or disciplinary actions (demerits or above) in the current semester, and a cumulative total of no more than3warnings.
2. The students mentioned in the preceding paragraph do not include students in continuing education programs, extension schools, continuing education classes, open university, delayed enrollment, internships, graduate programs, first-semester first-year students, or scholarship students.
II. Number of scholarships awarded:
Senior high, vocational, or first to third year of a five-year junior college program: 80 recipients, with each receiving NT$3,000 each.
Application Period and Documents:
Applicants should complete the application form and submit the following documentsby March 6, 2026to their respective schools:
(1) A copy of the previous semester's academic transcript.
(2) Disciplinary and attendance records.
(3) A copy of the certificate of enrollment or student ID card.
(4) Proof of low-income or low-to-middle income status, approval document for families in special circumstances, or a copy of the National Taxation Bureau's statement of various income tax classifications for the most recent year.
(5) A copy of the household registration transcript or household book.
