I. These supplementary regulations (hereinafter referred to as these Regulations) are formulated and promulgated in accordance with the "Regulations for Student Learning Assessment in Senior High Schools" issued by the Ministry of Education on June 18, 108 (Tai-Jiao-Guo-Bu-Zi No. 1080057314B) and the examination rules for students of National Taipei University of Technology Affiliated Taoyuan Agricultural and Industrial Senior High School.
II. All students of our school in all grades who are unable to participate in school regular assessments and semester make-up exams due to official leave, bereavement leave, sick leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, miscarriage leave, parental leave, menstrual leave, and other major incidents, and have been approved for leave, their make-up exam matters shall be handled in accordance with these Regulations. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai-Jiao-Guo-Bu-Zi No. 1135804922A dated August 16, 113, students are not allowed to take leave for psychological adjustment during the period of regular academic assessment and semester make-up exams.
III. If a student is unable to take an exam due to official leave, bereavement leave, or a major illness/accident during an exam, they must go to the Student Affairs Office to complete the leave application procedures. After approval, they must submit proof to the Academic Affairs Office for registration, and according to regulations, complete the make-up exam application procedures at the Academic Affairs Office at least 2 class days before the exam. In case of sudden serious illness, emergency, or accident, the student must inform the homeroom teacher or call the Academic Affairs Office before 8:00 AM on the day of the exam to report the leave information. Students who are absent without approved leave will be marked as absent, and their absent subjects will be graded as zero.
IV. Students applying for make-up exams for regular assessments and semester make-up exams shall follow the provisions below:
(1) For official leave, bereavement leave, sick leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, miscarriage leave, parental leave, menstrual leave, and other major incident reasons, approval from the Student Affairs Office and supporting documentation are required.
(2) For sick leave, if leave can be applied for in advance, it shall be handled as in the preceding paragraph. If it is an emergency situation and advance application is not possible, the homeroom teacher will confirm and complete the leave application procedures on behalf of the student.
(3) Students requiring make-up exams due to personal reasons must obtain and complete the make-up exam application form from the Academic Affairs Office at least 2 class days before the school's regular assessment.
V. For students who have been approved for leave and have completed the make-up exam application procedures, the make-up exam date is the end of the exam day or the return date to school.
The first class period should go directly to the Academic Affairs Office for the make-up exam, not enter the classroom, and participate in the make-up exam according to the schedule. Otherwise, the absent subjects will be calculated as zero points.

VI. If the leave date for a semester make-up exam exceeds the school's deadline for uploading make-up exam scores, or if the make-up exam cannot be completed before the deadline, the make-up exam score for the absent subject will be calculated as zero.
VII. Make-up exams as stipulated in these Regulations are limited to one attempt.
VIII. Calculation of scores for regular assessment make-up exams:
(1) For official leave, sick leave, bereavement leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, parental leave, and miscarriage leave (excluding personal leave), scores will be calculated based on the actual score obtained.
(2) For personal leave due to major special incidents, the maximum score will be 60 points.
(3) If a student's leave is canceled after the score registration deadline has passed, the score for that subject will be calculated as zero.
Note: The make-up exam score for the semester is capped at a maximum of 60 points.
IX. If a student has other special reasons preventing them from taking a make-up exam, they may apply to the relevant unit for the principal's approval, and diversified assessments will be implemented.
