I. Purpose of the Activity:
To assist students in gaining an in-depth understanding of industry technologies and practical developments in smart manufacturing, AI applications, data management, special steel, and advanced material manufacturing, the Ministry of Education's Platform for Promoting Industry-Academia Collaboration and Talent Cultivation - National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology Executive Office, in conjunction with the Taiwan Steel Industry Association, is organizing the "2026 Steel Industry Technical Workshop."
II. Activity Information:
1. Date of Visit: October 14, 2027 (Wednesday) 09:00 – 16:00
2. Location of Visit: RONG-SHENG MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Liuying Plant, Yieh Phui Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. Yanshui Plant
3. Target Audience: Students from relevant departments at our university, including Mechanical Engineering, Power Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
4. Number of Participants: Limited to 20 participants nationwide.
5. Fees and Transportation:
The entire event is free of charge (including lunch). Accommodation should be arranged by the participants themselves.
Round-trip shuttle bus service will be provided at designated points throughout the event (detailed shuttle times and locations will be announced separately).
6. Certificate of Participation: Participants who attend the entire workshop will be awarded a certificate of participation upon completion of the course.
