1. The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) holds the "APICTA Awards" annually, with member economies taking turns to host. This is a representative ICT application competition in the Indo-Pacific region, aiming to promote regional technological exchange, encourage youth innovation, and deepen cross-border cooperation. Since Taiwan began participating in 2012, it has accumulated 43 gold medals and 76 silver medals, achieving remarkable results in the competition.

2. Taiwan will once again host the APICTA Awards in 2025, bringing together over 200 innovative technology teams from 12 economies in the Indo-Pacific region to Kaohsiung, showcasing Taiwan's digital innovation capabilities and international cooperation energy. 3. This year's APICTA Awards international competition will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from December 7th (Monday) to December 11th (Friday), 2026. To select outstanding student teams from Taiwan to represent the country and showcase Taiwan's digital innovation and talent cultivation achievements, the "APICTA Awards 2026 Taiwan Representative Team Selection - Student Group" is being organized.

4. The "Student Group" is open to all senior high school students nationwide. Participating teams can be formed across schools (maximum of 5 students) and must be accompanied by one supervising teacher. Teams must have English presentation skills and submit innovative and valuable projects.
