Announcement of the final exam schedule for the first and second grades of the 114th academic year, second semester.
I. These supplementary regulations (hereinafter referred to as these regulations) are formulated and promulgated in accordance with the "Regulations for Learning Assessment of Senior High School Students" issued by the Ministry of Education on June 18, 108 (2019), and the examination rules for students of the Affiliated Taoyuan Agricultural and Industrial Senior High School of National Taipei University of Technology.
II. Students of all grades in our school who are unable to participate in regular school assessments and semester make-up exams due to official leave, bereavement leave, sick leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, miscarriage leave, parental leave, menstrual leave, or other major incidents, and have been approved for leave, will have their make-up exam matters handled in accordance with these regulations. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai-Jiao-Guo-Bu-Zi-1135804922A dated August 16, 113 (2024), students are not allowed to take leave for mental adjustment during the period of regular academic assessment and semester make-up exams.
III. If a student is unable to take an exam due to official leave, bereavement leave, or personal serious illness/accident, they must complete the leave application procedures at the Student Affairs Office. After approval, proof must be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office for registration. The make-up exam application procedures must be completed at the Academic Affairs Office at least 2 class days before the exam. For sudden serious illness, emergency, or accidental incidents, the homeroom teacher or the Academic Affairs Office must be notified by 8:00 AM on the day of the exam. Students who are absent without approved leave will be marked as absent, and the missed subject will be graded as zero.
IV. Students applying for make-up exams for regular assessments and semester make-up exams shall follow the provisions below:
(1) For official leave, bereavement leave, sick leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, miscarriage leave, parental leave, menstrual leave, and other major incident reasons, approval from the Student Affairs Office and supporting documentation are required.
(2) For sick leave, if leave can be applied for in advance, it shall be handled as in the preceding paragraph. If it is an emergency and advance application is not possible, the homeroom teacher will confirm and complete the leave application procedures on behalf of the student.
(3) Students applying for make-up exams due to personal reasons must obtain the make-up exam application form from the Academic Affairs Office and complete the application process at least 2 class days before the school's regular assessment.
V. For students who have been approved for leave and have completed the make-up exam application procedures, the make-up exam date will be the first class after the end of the exam day or the return date.
They will go directly to the Academic Affairs Office for the make-up exam and are not allowed to enter the classroom. They must participate in the make-up exam according to the schedule, otherwise the missed subject will be graded as zero.
VI. If the leave date for the semester make-up exam exceeds the deadline for uploading make-up exam scores set by the school, or if the make-up exam cannot be completed before the deadline, the make-up score for the missed subject will be zero.
VII. Make-up exams stipulated in these regulations are limited to one attempt.
VIII. Calculation of make-up exam scores for regular assessments:
(1) For official leave, sick leave, bereavement leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, parental leave, and miscarriage leave (excluding personal leave), the score will be calculated based on the actual score obtained.
(2) For personal leave due to major special incidents, the score will be capped at 60 points.
(3) If the student's leave is canceled after the score registration deadline, the score for that subject will be zero.
Note: The make-up exam score for the semester is capped at 60 points.
IX. If a student has other special reasons preventing them from taking the make-up exam, they may apply to the relevant unit for the principal's approval, and diversified assessments will be implemented.
