Description:
I. To promote national high school English debate education and critical thinking teaching activities, this department will undertake
the "2026 National High School English Debate Competition Regional Rounds" guided and subsidized by the Ministry of Education's Department of Secondary Education.

"Resolved: The Taiwanese government should
overhaul its energy policy to address the nation's
most urgent need(s).", and the public forum debate topic is

VII. Spectator Information: Non-participating teachers and students will not be allowed to observe the 2026 competition.
VIII. Please refer to the attachments for the relevant activity implementation plan, competition rules, and learning guide. We kindly request that schools inform the heads of teaching departments, English subject coordinators, gifted class advisors, and English-related clubs (including Model UN clubs, etc.) and post this information on the school website to encourage teachers and students to participate in this regional competition. Participants who are granted leave for this activity will be considered on official (business) leave, and travel expenses will be borne by their respective schools.
