On-campus application deadline: March 10, 2026 (Tuesday)
I. Eligibility and Conditions:
Applicants must meet all five of the following criteria to apply for this scholarship:
(1) Must be a national of this country and under 25 years of age.
(2) Must be a student enrolled in a public or private senior high school, vocational school, junior college, or university recognized by the Ministry of Education, and must maintain current enrollment status at the time of application. This excludes military and police academies, open universities, in-service programs for universities, and graduate programs. For junior college or 7-year integrated programs, the first three years are considered part of the senior high school/vocational school group.
(3) Academic Performance: The applicant's overall average grade from the previous semester (114 academic year, first semester) must be 70 or above, and conduct grade must be 75 or above.
(4) Must not be receiving other scholarships, or if applying for or receiving other on-campus or off-campus scholarships, the financial need must still not be fully met.
(5) Family Circumstances:
1. Must qualify as low-income or lower-middle-income household.
2. Special Circumstances:
(1) The primary breadwinner in the family has passed away, is seriously ill, unemployed, incarcerated, or unable to work for other reasons, causing financial hardship to the family.
(2) Special family circumstances affecting the student's stable pursuit of education.
(3) Other situations involving major unforeseen events that have caused financial hardship to the family and difficulties in pursuing education.
(4) The applicant has special physical or mental conditions but is actively pursuing education, with supporting documentation. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Regulations for details.
II. Scholarship Amount:
Senior High School/Vocational School Group: NT$10,000 per recipient, with an estimated total of 10 recipients.
III. Application Documents:
(1) Original "Da Peng Scholarship Application Form" (one copy). Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the applicant.
(2) Original "Autobiography" (one copy), at least 500 words. Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the applicant.
(3) Original "Letter of Recommendation" (one copy), recommended by the head of the department, class advisor, counselor, subject teacher, or social worker from a social welfare organization. Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the recommender.
(4) Original transcript from the previous semester. The transcript must bear the official seal of the school.
(5) Original "Household Registration Transcript" (full household) issued within the last three months (one copy).
(6) Original proof of "Various Income Tax Information" for the entire household from the previous year, obtained from the National Taxation Bureau (one copy).
(7) Original "National Property Tax Return" for the entire household from the previous year, obtained from the National Taxation Bureau (one copy).
(8) A photocopy of the school's "Tuition Payment Receipt" for the current semester, or an original "Certificate of Enrollment" issued by the school (one copy).
(9) Proof of special family circumstances: In addition to low-income or special hardship family certificates, if a family member or the applicant has a serious illness, please provide an original medical certificate from a public or private hospital. The medical certificate must bear the official seal of the hospital and the doctor's seal.
(10) A clear photocopy of the cover of the applicant's Post Office or bank account (applicant's own account only, and must be stamped or signed). If the applicant does not have a financial account, a guardian's account photocopy may be used as a substitute.
(11) Proof of special achievements. Examples include: certificates or medals for outstanding skills or talents, recognition for public service or special commendations, proof of certifications obtained during studies, etc.
