Yunlin County 2nd Semester of the 114th Academic Year Scholarships for Needy Students in Secondary and Higher Education
On-campus application deadline: March 20 (Friday)
I. Eligibility:
(1) Students enrolled in secondary or higher education institutions in this county for more than 6 months, who come from financially disadvantaged families.
(2) Academic average score of 80 or above, and physical education score of 70 or above (exempt for those without physical education courses).
(3) Not currently receiving any other publicly funded scholarships, and not students in evening divisions, continuing education programs, extension programs, cooperative education programs, in-service programs, or open university programs at any level of school.
II. Number of scholarships and amounts per semester (the number of recipients and amounts may be adjusted based on the county government's annual budget allocation) are as follows:
(1) Junior High School: 300 students, NT$1,500 per person.
(2) Senior High School (including vocational schools): 125 students, NT$2,000 per person.
(3) Colleges and Universities (including graduate schools): 100 students, NT$3,000 per person (the first 3 years of 5-year junior colleges will be assessed according to the standards for senior high and vocational schools). The Ministry of Education is requested to assist in notifying universities and colleges.
III.This application is only available online. Students wishing to apply should do so through the system at (https://eservice.yunlin.gov.tw/), with the following notes:
(1) No need to upload paper application forms. Please prioritize using MyData for application, which allows the system to directly verify low-income or middle-income household status (if qualified, no supporting documents are required). Please upload original documents for relevant proof and academic transcripts (use low-income household certificates issued by township/city/district offices or proof of financial hardship certified by a homeroom teacher; do not use certificates of financial hardship issued by village/neighborhood chiefs).
(2) Schools are kindly requested to note that for the on-campus review process, schools must select "preliminary review passed" in the system for student applications to be sent to the county government for final review. Schools should mail the signed and stamped preliminary review account request form (schools that applied last semester do not need to resubmit) to the project assistant at Hamastar Technology Co., Ltd., email: yijie@mail.hamastar.com.tw.
