Announcement regarding the application for the scholarship for outstanding underprivileged students for the second semester of the 114th academic year in Tainan City.

I. Eligibility:
(1) Any person who has been registered as a resident of Tainan Cityfor 6months or more, is studying in senior high schools or above, and elementary and junior high schools in this city, and meets one of the following conditions (in order of priority):
1.Low-income households.
2.Children and grandchildren of families in special circumstances.
3.Students from low-to-middle income households.
4.Students with an annual family incomeof NT$500,000 or less.
(2) Needy students who meet one of the following conditions may apply for the Needy Outstanding Student Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship):
1. Senior high and vocational schools, and the first to third grades of five-year junior colleges: Academic performance average score of the semester75points or above, with no unexcused absences or disciplinary actions (demerits or above) in that semester, and a cumulative total of no more than3warnings.
2. The students mentioned in the preceding paragraph do not include students in continuing education programs, extension schools, continuing education classes, open university, deferred enrollment, internships, graduate programs, students in their first semester of the first year, or scholarship students.
II. The number of scholarships awarded is as follows:
Senior high and vocational schools, and the first to third grades of five-year junior colleges: 80students, with each student receiving NT$3,000each.
Application Period and Documents:
Applicants should complete the application form and attach the following documentsbefore March 6, 2026to apply at their respective schools:
(1) A copy of the previous semester's academic transcript.
(2) Disciplinary and attendance records.
(3) A copy of the certificate of enrollment or student ID card.
(4) Proof of low-income or low-to-middle income status, approval document for families in special circumstances, or a copy of the National Taxation Bureau's statement of various income tax classifications for the most recent year.
(5) A copy of the household registration transcript or household certificate.
