Description:
I. To commemorate the 118th birthday of the late President S. L. Chien, Academia Sinica is hosting the "Knowledge Feast - S. L. Chien Popular Science Lecture Series." We have specially invited Academician Yi-Fang Tsay, Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute of Molecular Biology, Academia Sinica, to give a lecture titled "To Fertilize or Not to Fertilize? - Plant Food, Human Food, and Environmental Sustainability" (event poster attached).
II. Lecture Time: February 24, 2026, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Location: 1st Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Academic Activity Center, Academia Sinica.

IV. You are welcome to register for the in-person lecture before February 23, 2026. Please note the following:
(1) Registration is online. There are 30 spots available for on-site registration on the day of the event, starting at 6:00 PM at the reception desk. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
(2) If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online before February 23 to avoid affecting future registration privileges.(3) A video of the lecture will be edited and uploaded to Academia Sinica's YouTube channel after the event (no live streaming).
V. Attendees present at the venue will receive:
(1) A popular science publication will be given to those who check in at the venue. Limited quantities available.
(2) Those driving to the event can present their registration confirmation upon entry to receive free parking.
(3) Civil servants attending will receive 1 hour of lifelong learning credit, and teachers will receive 1.5 hours.

直播）。
五、現場出席者將提供：
(一)現場報到即贈送科普出版品，數量有限送完為止。
(二)自行開車者，入院時出示報名參加信，可免收停車費。
(三)公務人員參與可獲得終身學習時數1小時，教師1.5小時。
