Announcement of the final exam schedule for the first and second grades of the 114th academic year, second semester.
I. These supplementary regulations (hereinafter referred to as these regulations) are formulated and promulgated in accordance with the "Regulations for Learning Assessment of Senior High School Students" issued by the Ministry of Education on June 18, 108 (2019), and the examination rules for students of National Taipei University of Technology Affiliated Taoyuan Agricultural and Industrial Senior High School.
II. Students of all grades in our school who are unable to participate in regular school assessments and semester make-up exams due to official leave, bereavement leave, sick leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, miscarriage leave, parental leave, menstrual leave, or other major incidents, and have been approved for leave, shall have their make-up exam matters handled in accordance with these regulations. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai-Jiao-Guo-Bu-Zi No. 1135804922A dated August 16, 113 (2024), students are not allowed to take leave for psychological adjustment during the period of regular academic assessment and semester make-up exams.
III. If a student is unable to take an exam due to official leave, bereavement leave, or personal serious illness/accident, they must complete the leave application procedures at the Student Affairs Office. After approval, proof must be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office for registration. The make-up exam application procedures must be completed at the Academic Affairs Office no later than two class days before the exam. For sudden serious illness, emergency, or accidental injury, the student must inform their homeroom teacher or call the Academic Affairs Office by 8:00 AM on the day of the exam to report the leave information. Students who are absent without approved leave will be marked as absent, and the missed subject will be graded as zero.
IV. Students applying for make-up exams during regular assessments and semester make-up exams shall follow the provisions below:
(1) For official leave, bereavement leave, sick leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, miscarriage leave, parental leave, menstrual leave, and other major incident reasons, approval from the Student Affairs Office and supporting documentation are required.
(2) For sick leave, if leave can be applied for in advance, it shall be handled as in the preceding paragraph. If it is an emergency and advance application is not possible, the homeroom teacher will confirm and complete the leave application procedures on behalf of the student.
(3) Students requiring make-up exams due to personal reasons must obtain the make-up exam application form from the Academic Affairs Office and complete the application process no later than two class days before the school's regular assessment.
V. For students who have been approved for leave and have completed the make-up exam application procedures, the make-up exam date is the end of the exam day or the return date to school.
The first class period directly to the Academic Affairs Office for make-up exams. Students are not allowed to enter the classroom and must attend the make-up exam according to the schedule. Otherwise, the missed subject will be graded as zero.
Subjects will be calculated as zero.
VI. If the leave date for the semester make-up exam exceeds the school's deadline for uploading make-up exam scores, or if the make-up exam cannot be completed before the deadline, the make-up score for the missed subject will be calculated as zero.
VII. The make-up exams stipulated in these regulations are limited to one attempt.
VIII. Calculation of make-up exam scores for regular assessments:
(1) For official leave, sick leave, bereavement leave, pre-natal leave, maternity leave, parental leave, and miscarriage leave (excluding personal leave), the score will be calculated based on the actual score obtained.
(2) For personal leave due to major special circumstances, the maximum score will be 60 points.
(3) If the student's leave is canceled after the score registration deadline has passed, the score for that subject will be calculated as zero.
Note: The make-up exam score for the semester is capped at 60 points.
IX. If a student has other special reasons preventing them from taking the make-up exam, they may apply to the relevant unit for the principal's approval for diversified assessment.
