I. The Doctoral Program in East Asian Studies at our university aims to cultivate high-level academic talents with both theoretical and practical expertise. The curriculum focuses on two key areas: "Culture and Application" and "Politics, Economics, and Regional Development." It emphasizes four major objectives: East Asian perspective, local practice, interdisciplinary integration, and critical thinking, providing solid training in regional studies. The degree awarded is Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
II. The admission information for the East Asian Studies Department for the 115th academic year is as follows:
(I) Number of admissions: 1.
(II) Online application period: March 3, 115th year, 9:00 AM to March 12, 115th year, 5:00 PM.
(III) Payment: March 3, 115th year, 9:00 AM to March 12, 115th year, 12:00 AM.
(IV) Submission of application materials: March 3, 115th year, 9:00 AM to March 13, 115th year, 5:00 PM.
(V) Examination subjects: Document review (60%), Oral examination (40%).
(VI) Oral examination date: April 18, 115th year (Saturday).
