114 Academic Year New Residents and Children Empowerment and Scholarship (Grant) Program Application Notice
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. TAI-EDU-SOC(II)-1140120387 dated November 17, 114.
National Immigration Agency's letter No. NIA-IMM-11401565941 dated November 13, 114.
II. Eligibility and Purpose
Eligibility: New residents and their children who meet the program's conditions.
Purpose: To provide scholarships (grants) for empowerment and encouragement. New resident language teaching support staff are requested to assist in disseminating this information and to actively recommend applicants.
III. Important Schedule
On-campus Consolidation Period: February 24, 114 (Wed) to March 12, 115 (Wed).
Online Application System Opens: February 23, 115 (Mon) to March 23, 115 (Mon).
Submission of Written Documents: Must arrive at the National Immigration Agency by March 30, 115 (Mon) (postmark date applies).
Announcement of Awardees: Scheduled for late May, 115.
IV. On-Campus Application Process (Consolidated by the Health Section, Office of Student Affairs)
Prior Contact: Before proceeding with the application, please contact the coordinator, Mr. Li Xie-Xing, by phone (03-3333921 ext. 323) or email (tch3718@goo.tyai.tyc.edu.tw).
Document Preparation: Prepare original/photocopies of relevant supporting documents for the application.
Online Registration and Printing: Visit the Health Section, Office of Student Affairs. The coordinator will assist with online system registration and print the application form with a serial number.
Homeroom Teacher's Signature: The applicant will receive the application form and needs to get the homeroom teacher's signature.
Submission: Return the 'signed application form' along with 'required supporting documents' to the Health Section. The school will then mail them to the National Immigration Agency.
V. Important Notes
Late Applications Not Accepted: Please ensure all procedures are completed by the on-campus deadline (March 12, 115) to avoid delays in online application and mailing.
Information Updates: Any changes regarding the online application period or program modifications will be announced separately based on notifications from the National Immigration Agency.
