The National Ocean Research Institute is calling for papers for the sixth volume, second issue of its academic English journal, "Marine Research."

Description:
I. This institute is dedicated to interdisciplinary academic research in marine policy, resources, culture, science, industry, and engineering. With the mission of "integrating national marine research capabilities and expanding the horizons of marine research," we publish the academic English journal "Marine Research."
學科領域之學術研究，以「整合國家海洋研究量能、開拓
海洋研究視野」為辦刊宗旨，爰發行學術英文期刊「海洋
探索Marine Research」。
II. This journal possesses the publication and international identification mechanisms of a formal academic journal (ISSN: 2709-6629; DOI: 10.29677/MR) and adopts a peer-review system to ensure academic rigor. It operates on an Open Access model, providing full text for free reading and download, and does not charge any submission or publication fees. This helps to enhance the visibility of research outcomes and the effectiveness of academic dissemination, making it a suitable channel for publishing research findings.

III. We are publicly soliciting manuscripts for a special issue to be published in December of this year, Volume 6, Issue 2. We invite Professor Chi-Fang Chen from the Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering at National Taiwan University and Assistant Professor Shashidhar Siddagangiah from the Department of Systems Engineering and Naval Architecture at National Taiwan Ocean University as guest editors. The theme of the special issue is "Passive Acoustics Monitoring Techniques Development and Application." The deadline for manuscript submission is July 10th.

IV. This journal accepts submissions on any topic throughout the year, with manuscripts reviewed on a rolling basis. Publication occurs in June and December each year.
