On-campus application deadline: March 10, 2026 (Tuesday)
I. Eligibility and Conditions:
Applicants must meet all five of the following criteria to apply for this scholarship:
(1) Must be a national of the Republic of China and under 25 years of age.
(2) Must be a student enrolled in a public or private senior high school, vocational high school, five-year junior college, or university recognized by the Ministry of Education, and must maintain current enrollment status at the time of application. This excludes students from military/police academies, open universities, in-service programs at universities, and graduate programs. For five-year junior college or 7-year integrated programs, the first three years are considered equivalent to senior high school/vocational high school.
(3) Academic Performance: The applicant's overall average grade from the previous semester (114 academic year, first semester) must be 70 or above, and conduct grade must be 75 or above.
(4) Must not be receiving other scholarships, or if applying for or receiving other on-campus or off-campus scholarships, the financial need must still not be fully met.
(5) Family Circumstances:
1. Must qualify as low-income or lower-middle-income household.
2. Special Circumstances:
(1) The primary breadwinner in the family has passed away, is seriously ill, unemployed, incarcerated, or unable to work due to other reasons, causing financial hardship to the family.
(2) Special family circumstances affecting the student's stable pursuit of education.
(3) Other situations involving major personal or family crises that have led to financial hardship and difficulties in pursuing education.
(4) The applicant has special physical or mental conditions but is actively pursuing education, with supporting documentation. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Regulations for details.
II. Scholarship Amount:
Senior High School/Vocational High School Group: NT$10,000 per recipient, with an estimated total of 10 recipients.
III. Application Documents:
(1) Original "Da Peng Scholarship Application Form" (one copy). Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the applicant.
(2) Original "Autobiography" (one copy), at least 500 words. Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the applicant.
(3) Original "Letter of Recommendation" (one copy) from the head of the department, class advisor, counselor, subject teacher, or social worker from a social welfare organization. Can be typed, but must be personally signed and stamped by the recommender.
(4) Original transcript from the previous semester. The transcript must bear the official seal of the school.
(5) Original "Household Registration Transcript" for the entire household, issued within the last three months.
(6) Original "Proof of Various Income Sources for the Entire Household" for the previous year, obtained from the National Taxation Bureau.
(7) Original "National Property Tax Return for the Entire Household" for the previous year, obtained from the National Taxation Bureau.
(8) Copy of the school's "Tuition Payment Receipt" for the current semester, or original "Certificate of Enrollment" issued by the school.
(9) Supporting documents for special family circumstances: In addition to certificates for low-income or lower-middle-income households, or special circumstances, if a family member or the applicant has a serious illness, please provide an original medical diagnosis certificate from a public or private hospital. The diagnosis certificate must bear the official seal of the hospital and the doctor's seal.
(10) Clear photocopy of the cover of the applicant's Post Office or bank account (applicant's own account only, with stamp or signature). If the applicant does not have a financial account, a photocopy of the guardian's account may be used.
(11) Proof of special achievements. Examples include: certificates or medals for outstanding skills or talents, recognition for public service or special commendations, proof of certifications obtained during studies, etc.
