Details:
I. To enhance the creativity and innovation of senior high school students nationwide,
and to train students in applying their knowledge, the Ministry of Education has been organizing the Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition since 2004. The 115th competition will mark its 23rd year.
II. The competition is open to senior high school students nationwide.
The competition consists of preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals, and an international competition. The competition content is interdisciplinary,
encompassing humanities, science, sports, practical skills, labor, knowledge, and skills encountered in daily life.
The details for the 115th competition are summarized as follows:
(I) Registration Dates and Methods: A total of 3 preliminary rounds will be held.
Registration for all rounds begins on December 15, 114.
The first round registration closes on February 12.
The second round registration closes on March 26,
and the third round registration closes on May 14. All registrations must be completed online via the competition website (
Registration categories include the domestic "General Group" and "Vocational Group." Each team must consist of 4 to 6 members.
The category is determined by the school affiliation of the majority of team members:
1. General Group: Students from regular senior high schools, general high schools (general track), school-based, and non-school-based experimental education programs (including self-learning students).
2. Vocational Group: Students from vocational high schools, general high schools (vocational track), and specialized high schools.
(II) Registration Fee: NT$300 per person. Students with financial difficulties may be exempted from the registration fee upon submission of relevant documentation.
(III) Competition Prizes: For the domestic General Group, Vocational Group, and International Group, the first, second, and third place winners will each receive NT$150,000, NT$80,000, and NT$50,000 respectively. Additionally, a "Challenge Champion" and "Creative Team Spirit" award will be given to one team each, with prizes of NT$80,000 and NT$10,000 respectively.
(IV) Preliminary Round Dates and Locations: Three rounds will be held in five regions: North, Central, South, East, and remote areas. Detailed locations and competition dates can be found on the competition website.
III. To promote this competition, the "Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition Office" can visit your school to conduct "Promotional Briefings."
These briefings will explain the competition rules and offer hands-on activities. We encourage your school to apply. The application form for promotional briefings is attached, with application methods and details as follows:
(I) Application Period: From now until May 115.
(II) Participants: Primarily principals, teachers, and students from senior and vocational high schools in the applicant's region. Generally, each session should have at least 20 participants.
IV. An electronic copy of the competition poster is also attached.
Please assist in promoting it within your school to encourage students to form teams and participate.
Physical copies of the competition poster will be sent separately by the "Intelligent Iron Man Creative Competition Office" at National Taiwan University. Please assist in posting them.
