National Kaohsiung Normal University is holding a series of online lectures on "Understanding Bilingual Trends and Curriculum Design in International Chinese Language Teaching." Your participation is highly encouraged.
Details:
1. To assist teachers and teacher education students in grasping the development trends of international Chinese language education and bilingual curriculum, and to enhance their bilingual curriculum design and teaching practice abilities, our university's "Center for the Promotion of English-Medium Instruction and Bilingual Teaching" is organizing the aforementioned series of online lectures.
2. This lecture series focuses on the practical aspects of international Chinese language teaching and bilingual education. It covers the qualities and teaching philosophies that bilingual teachers should possess, as well as the principles and strategies for bilingual curriculum design and teaching, aiming to help participants establish a cross-cultural and internationalized teaching perspective.
3. Dr. Hui-lan Tsou from the University of Hong Kong, who previously served as an adjunct associate professor at our university, has been invited as the speaker for this lecture series. Her expertise lies in bilingual teaching, the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, and intercultural communication, with extensive practical experience both domestically and internationally.
