Description:
I. To continuously promote high school students' interest in green chemistry nationwide and encourage students to explore their potential in scientific and creative invention, fostering their spirit of flexible thinking and diverse learning, this year we are once again co-organizing the "High School Green Chemistry Creative Competition" with the Ministry of the Environment to select students with independent thinking in green chemistry, so as to implement environmental protection education demonstration.
II. The theme of this creative competition is based on the twelve principles of green chemistry, supplemented by the high school curriculum. Students can also choose various green chemistry experiments related to daily life as their theme. III. The selection process for this competition plan is divided into two stages: "Preliminary Selection" and "Final Selection." The plan details are as follows:
(I) Participants:
1. All high school students interested in the "Green Chemistry Creative Competition" are welcome to participate.
2. Each team shall consist of 1 to 3 students, with a maximum of 2 supervising teachers per team.3. Graduating students in the 115 academic year may register through their current school.
(II) Selection Method:1. Preliminary Selection:
(1) The written creative proposal will be used as the basis for review and scoring. The organizing unit of this project will first review the qualifications of the participating teams and the submitted materials.
(2) Those who pass the qualification review will be distributed to the review panel for preliminary scoring, and the shortlisted works for the "Final Selection" will be selected, and an "Award of Commendation" certificate will be issued.
(3) For works that meet the competition qualifications as assessed by 2 or more committee members during the preliminary selection scoring, but are not shortlisted for the final selection, an "Award of Recommendation" certificate will be issued.
2. Final Selection:
(1) Teams shortlisted for the final selection will need to complete a results report, a presentation summary, a copyright authorization agreement, and produce a results video.
(2) A results exhibition will be held on a designated date, where participating students will enter the venue, and interested students and teachers will be open for mutual learning and observation.
(3) The selection panel will review the results report and the on-site exhibition results, and the panel members will convene a final selection meeting to jointly determine the final scores.
(III) Awards: Teams entering the final selection will receive a subsidy of NT$3,000 for experimental materials. Gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as several honorable mentions, will be selected from the general and vocational high school groups, respectively. The Ministry will award gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with prize money of NT$20,000, NT$15,000, and NT$10,000. Supervising teachers will receive a letter of appreciation and NT$3,000 in prize money. Honorable mentions will receive a certificate of appreciation, and supervising teachers will receive a letter of appreciation.
(IV) Special Award (Creative Award):
1. The selection committee will select the winning team(s) for the Creative Award from the works shortlisted for the final selection. The Ministry will award NT$20,000 and a certificate. If there are 2 or more winning teams, the prize money will be shared equally among them.
2. If there are no works that meet the award criteria in the current year, this award will not be given.

(3)初選評分作業中,作品經2位(含)以上委員評定
符合競賽資格,惟未入圍複選者,頒發「委員推薦
證明」證明書1份。
2、複選:
(1)複選入圍隊伍另需填寫成果報告書、成果展示簡
報、著作權授權同意書,以及製作成果影片。
(2)擇日進行成果展示,由參賽學生進入試場,並開放
有興趣之同學與老師互相學習觀摩。
(3)評選小組將依成果報告書及現場成果展示結果進行
評審,並由評選小組委員召開複選會議,共同決定
最後評審成績。
(三)獎勵:進入複選的隊伍,每隊可以獲得實驗材料補助費
用新臺幣(以下同)3,000元,並從普通型與技術型高級
中等學校組分別選出金牌1名、銀牌2名、銅牌3名與佳作
若干名,由本部頒發金、銀、銅牌獎狀及獎金2萬元、1
萬5千元、1萬元,指導老師頒發感謝狀乙幀與獎金新臺
幣3,000元。佳作獎提供獎狀乙幀,指導老師頒發感謝狀
乙幀。
(四)特殊獎勵(創意獎):
1、由評選委員從入圍複選之作品中,擇優選出創意獎之
獲獎隊伍,由本部頒發2萬元及獎狀乙幀,若有2組以
上獲獎,獎金由獲獎隊伍均分。
2、如當年度無符合獲獎資格之作品,本獎項則從缺。
