The Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, has commissioned Taichung Municipal Taichung Home Economics and Commerce Vocational High School to organize the promotion of innovative teaching in senior high schools. We are holding the "2026 Innovative Teaching Skills Workshop." Your active participation is encouraged.
Details:
1. In accordance with the "2026 Promotion of Innovative Teaching in Senior High Schools" project, as per the letter from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, No. 1140133978, dated January 8, 2026.
2. To guide teachers in refining their creative thinking skills and strengthening their practical abilities in using AI tools for interdisciplinary teaching, by assisting teachers in designing innovative courses that integrate information technology based on their teaching needs, thereby achieving the core goal of promoting innovative teaching. This 2-day, 1-night workshop is specially organized for this purpose.
(1) Dates: July 1, 2026 (Wednesday) to July 2, 2026 (Thursday).
(2) Venue: Sun Moon Lake Teachers' Hostel, Nantou County.
(3) Target Audience: Teachers from public and private senior high schools nationwide.
(4) Course Content: Please refer to the course schedule (Attachment 1).
(5) Due to the operational requirements of the course, all attending teachers must bring their own laptops. The organizing unit will not provide loaner laptops.
(6) Registration Deadline: From May 19, 2026 (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM to June 15, 2026 (Monday) at 4:00 PM, or until full.
(7) Registration Method: Please register through the "National In-service Teacher Training Information Network" (Website: http://inservice.edu.tw). Course Code: 5584531.
(8) Fees: Expenses for meals, accommodation, transportation, and cultural education courses during the workshop will be covered by the project budget.
(9) The organizing unit reserves the right to control the number of participants per school, with a general principle of no more than two teachers per school.

3. Please grant official leave (business trip) for participants attending the workshop. Transportation expenses between schools and the shuttle pick-up points will be reimbursed by the original employing unit. Teachers who complete the workshop will receive training hours certified by the organizing unit.
