The Taoyuan City Government's Outdoor Education and Marine Education Center is organizing the "114 Academic Year Edible Fish Education Workshop, Practical Session, and Field Trip Study." Your participation is highly encouraged.
Details:
1. Purpose: To enhance the curriculum design and development capabilities of teachers in our city regarding edible fish education, and to improve teaching practical skills, this workshop is specially organized.
2. Target Audience: Teachers from all levels of schools in our city who are interested in developing edible fish education curricula.
3. Workshop Schedule:
(1) First Workshop: Saturday, May 30, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026), 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
(2) Second Workshop: Saturday, June 6, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026), 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
(3) Third Practical Session (including fishing port field trip): Saturday, June 13, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026), 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
4. Workshop Location:
(1) Workshops: Library of Dongxing Junior High School, our city.
(2) Practical Session: Yu Da High School, Yong'an Fishing Harbor.
5. Workshop Fee: Free of charge. (Funded by the "CPC Ecological Conservation Public Trust Fund")
6. Registration and Notification Matters:
(1) Registration Period: From now until Friday, May 22, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026).
(2) Notification of Acceptance: Acceptance emails will be sent on Monday, May 25, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026).
(3) Participants who attend the entire session will receive workshop hours. If you are unable to attend, please notify our center 3 working days prior to the workshop for replacement arrangements.

7. Workshop Capacity: Limited to 50 participants per session. If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, priority will be given to teachers with experience in edible fish education curriculum design and teaching.
8. Regarding the content and selection criteria for the practical session: Applicants for the practical session must meet one of the following conditions (priority will be given to those who meet more criteria). The list of accepted participants will be notified separately:
(1) Course Content: Introduction to shortfin squid and silver pomfret, hands-on seafood cooking, and a field trip to Yong'an Fishing Harbor.
(2) Practical Session Selection Criteria:
1. Have participated in at least one edible fish education workshop in our city.
2. The teaching activity design produced in the workshop has city-wide promotional value. (Assessed by the instructor)
3. Have developed relevant edible fish education teaching materials that are worth promoting. (Assessed by the instructor)
4. Have a track record of promotion within their school and are willing to share the curriculum with the entire city.
