National Taiwan Normal University is organizing the "2026 Mathematics and Science Gifted Teacher Workshop - Interdisciplinary, Transition, and Critical Thinking in the AI Era: A New Landscape for Gifted Education". We encourage you to participate.
Description: We plan to hold the "2026 Mathematics and Science Gifted Teacher Workshop - Interdisciplinary, Transition, and Critical Thinking in the AI Era: A New Landscape for Gifted Education". This workshop focuses on "interdisciplinary, transition, and critical thinking" to explore the new challenges and opportunities of gifted education in the AI era. The content covers the social-emotional learning, psychological adaptation, and emotional regulation strategies for gifted students, and shares the cultivation process of scientific talents and interdisciplinary development trends. Experts will be invited for panel discussions to delve into the impact of AI on the role of teachers, students' learning methods, and critical thinking skills, as well as feasible strategies for effectively using AI to assist teaching in educational settings. We hope to help teachers and parents grasp the needs of gifted students during inter-stage transitions and their diverse development, broaden the vision of talent cultivation, transform professional insights into teaching actions, and guide students to face future challenges.
1. Date: Saturday, May 23, 115 (2026), from 9:30 AM to 5:45 PM.
2. Location: International Conference Hall, Gongguan Campus, our university.
3. Target Audience: Teachers of gifted classes and science classes in mathematics and science at the high school level, teachers of university departments related to mathematics and science, general teachers interested in interdisciplinary education, and parents who are concerned about the development of gifted education.
4. Format: Teacher workshop. Teachers who participate in the entire session will be awarded teacher professional development hours.
