The Taiwan Geological Park Society and New Space International Co., Ltd. are organizing the "2026 Teacher's Yehliu Scenery Reading Workshop." Your active participation is encouraged.
Details:
1. The purpose of organizing the "2026 Teacher's Yehliu Scenery Reading Workshop" is to enhance teachers' practical abilities in the core competencies of "Autonomous Action," "Communication and Interaction," and "Social Participation" as outlined in the 108 curriculum. Our society continues to promote "Scenery Reading" activities, aiming to integrate disciplines such as Earth Science, Geography, Art, Biology, History, Chinese, and English, to implement interdisciplinary teaching practices.
2. This workshop specifically invites Professor Emeritus Lin Chun-Chuan from the Department of Geography and Environmental Resources at National Taiwan University as the lecturer. Through on-site field surveys at Yehliu Geopark, he will demonstrate how to guide students in environmental observation, inquiry, and expression, thereby enhancing teachers' outdoor education guidance capabilities.
3. Workshop information is as follows:
(1) Location: 2nd Floor, Yehliu Geopark Visitor Center (No. 167-1, Gangdong Road, Yehliu Village, Wanli District, New Taipei City).
(2) Session Planning:
First Session (Regional Collaboration): Saturday, April 11, 2026. Target audience: Teachers from Jinshan, Wanli, and Shimen districts, as well as nearby high schools in Taipei City.
Second Session (Interdisciplinary Crossing): Sunday, April 26, 2026. Target audience: Teachers from all disciplines across Taiwan.
Third Session (Interdisciplinary Crossing): Sunday, May 24, 2026. Target audience: Teachers from all disciplines across Taiwan.
(3) Capacity: Limited to 40 participants per session.

5. We kindly request your school to grant participating teachers official leave for this event. Participants who complete the entire workshop will receive 5 hours of professional development credit for civil servants.
