Attached is the information regarding the 2026 "Science Inquiry Competition - I Understand When Taught This Way." We encourage teachers and students to participate actively. Please acknowledge receipt.

Description:
I. In accordance with the National Kaohsiung Normal University's letter No.
1151000349 dated January 12, 115.
II. The aforementioned competition is guided by our agency and the National Science and Technology Council, and is jointly organized by National Kaohsiung Normal University, National Center for High-Performance Computing, National Museum of Natural Science,
National Taiwan Science Education Center, National Science and Technology Museum, National Museum of Marine Biology,
National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, and the Marine National Park Headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior. It invites teachers and students interested in science to
generate ideas for scientific problems, collect and understand data, explore and express, and solve real-life issues from a scientific perspective, thereby cultivating scientific narrative skills.
III. The competition is divided into the following categories: Elementary School Group (grades 4-6), Junior High School Group, Senior High School Group (General), Senior High School Group (Vocational), Teacher Group, and College/Social Group. Additionally, to encourage participation from female students, new immigrants, indigenous students, and students from remote areas and outlying islands, a bonus point mechanism is in place.
IV. Competition registration period: January 16 to April 9, 115.
V. Project submission period: March 1 to April 10, 115, until 12:00 PM.
VI. Announcement of finalists: May 11, 115.
VII. The total prize money for the competition is over NT$1.6 million. The top 15 participants in each group will receive certificates of award (including for supervising teachers) and prize money from our agency. Projects scoring 70 points or above will receive an honorable mention certificate from the organizing committee.

七、競賽總獎金新臺幣160萬以上，得獎各組取前15名頒發本署
獎狀（含指導老師）及獎金 ，70分以上作品可獲得大會入選證明。
